Why a repair company is named after a hill

The name came before the logo. Everyone in this city knows the hill on the northwest edge of town, and naming the company after it was the shortest way to say something that matters to a homeowner with water on the floor: we are from here. Not routed here, not dispatched here from a screen somewhere else.

We opened in 2022 with one van and one rule: carry the parts that actually fail on the machines people in Moncton own, so the first visit is usually the only visit. Pumps, door locks, heating elements, thermal fuses, defrost timers, igniters. Four years on, the rule has not changed — only the size of the parts shelf.

How we work

Every repair happens in your home. Nothing gets loaded into a van and taken to a workshop, because for most faults that adds a week to the wait and changes nothing about the outcome.

You get the price before the work starts, not on the invoice afterwards. If we open a machine and find something we did not expect, we stop and tell you what it changes before carrying on. And every repair carries a 90-day warranty on parts and labour — if the same fault comes back inside that window, so do we, at no charge.

Three things we will not do

• Quote a firm price down the phone as though we had already seen the machine. We will tell you the likely cause and the likely range, and the real number comes when a technician has eyes on it.
• Talk you into repairing an appliance that is not worth saving. If a new machine is the sensible answer, we say so and you owe us nothing for hearing it.
• Disappear once the invoice is paid. Same number, same people, same city — that is the whole point of hiring someone local.
